FIRE CIDER LIQUID is an immune tonic to be taken internally made from organic Apple Cider Vinegar and 11 renowned antiviral and antibacterial herbs that have been used for centuries to help fight infections (and yes, we have all the research to support this). All the herbs are organic – Horseradish, Lemon, Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Elderberries, Cinnamon, Chili Peppers, Rosemary, Thyme and Sage.

A flyer is included in all orders that outlines the amazing properties of all these herbs.

How To Use

LIQUID in Glass Dropper bottle – Add 3 droppers to a small glass of water or juice and drink quickly. Can also be added to salad dressings or sauces. Remember, its food, and food is medicine too!

Doses

  • Take 3 droppers full (as much as you can draw up in the glass dispenser is a dropper full) once a day in a small glass of water or juice as soon as cold and flu season starts.
  • If you feel you are starting to catch something, increase your dose to 3 droppers full EVERY 2 HOURS!
  • Do this increased dosage until symptoms subside, then return to the maintenance dose of once per day.

INGREDIENTS – ALL ORGANIC

Apple Cider Vinegar – organic, with the “mother”

  • Acetic acid – kills pathogens including bacteria (E.coli, staph bacteria) and fungus (yeast infections)
  • Disinfectant and preservative – used as wound cleaner by Hippocrates over 2000 years ago
  • Lowers blood sugar and insulin levels – assists Type 2 diabetes
  • Lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels – risk factors for heart disease
  • Shrinks tumors / kills cancer cells in animal studies
  • Helps acid reflux, if caused by too low levels of acid in the gut

Horseradish

  • Horseradish has been declared medically safe and effective for upper respiratory tract infections by the German Commission E Monographs, which helps guide physicians and other health professionals in Germany in the medical use of herbs. It is recommended that you take horseradish as soon as you feel a cold coming.
  • Allyl isothiocyanate, the oil released when horseradish root is cut, may have powerful antibacterial properties. Studies suggest that it may fight a range of dangerous bacteria, including E. coli, H. pylori, and Salmonella. Isothiocyanates may bind to certain enzymes to prevent bacterial cell growth, though the exact mechanism is not well understood.
  •  A member of the Brassicaceae family, horseradish contains many phytonutrients, including isothiocyanates (ITCs) such as glucosinolates (found only in Brassica plants) broken down from the volatile oil sinigrin, which has been found to help to protect against cancer.

Garlic

  • Historically, the main use of garlic was for its health and medicinal properties – in all major civilizations – Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans and Chinese. It has been used as an antibiotic to treat bacterial, fungal, and parasitic infections for the last 7,000 years
  • The sulfur compounds in garlic (onions and leeks too) exert potent biological effects.
  • Boosts the function of the immune system – a large, 12-week study found that a daily garlic supplement reduced the number of colds by 63% compared to a placebo

Ginger

  • Gingerol, the bioactive substance in fresh ginger, can help lower the risk of infections and inhibits many kinds of bacteria growth
  • Fresh ginger is also effective against the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a common cause of respiratory infections including pneumonia or bronchiolitis in young children and infants.
  • Ginger’s anti-cancer properties are attributed to 6-gingerol, a substance that is found in large amounts in raw ginger
  • Lowers cholesterol, and may have powerful anti-diabetic properties / Sucking on pieces of raw ginger root and taking in all the healing juices is also a great natural cough suppressant.

Lemon

  • High in vitamin C, lemon may help decrease the strength of the cold and flu virus in the body and reduce phlegm. Many use lemons to build resistance to cold and flu and speed up healing.
  • Great combined with ginger in hot tea when you are feeling sick or want to bump your immune system during cold and flu season.

Onion

  • The vitamin C (which remains intact in the raw onions) along with the phytochemicals present in onions helps build immunity. Onions contain selenium which also stimulates immune function.
  • Quercetin has been shown to lower cholesterol, prevent heart disease, thin the blood and ward off blood clots, is good for asthma (2013 study in the American Journal of Physiology), chronic bronchitis, diabetes, and infections.
  • Onions’ sulfurs may be effective anti-inflammatory agents, according to a 1990 study in the journal International Archives of Allergy and Applied Immunology.
  • One of the oldest recognized uses of onion is its use as a weapon to fight the common cold. Eat it raw or slice it and put it in your socks overnight – not joking!

Elderberries

  • Elderberries have been used for thousands of years as both medicine and food. They can prevent or shorten the duration of herpes outbreaks, decrease pain and inflammation, and reduce symptoms of upper respiratory infections.
  • A 2019 study on elderberry for both cold and flu suggested that the fruit substantially reduced upper-airway symptoms.
  • Researchers also have found that people who have taken elderberries have higher levels of antibodies against the influenza virus, showing that not only may the berry be able to treat flu symptoms, it may also be able to prevent influenza infection

Cinnamon

  • Two 2006 studies show that cinnamon is a powerful antioxidant and able to lower cholesterol, triglycerides, and glucose. Another study ranked cinnamon as 4th out of 500 foods, highest in antioxidant content.
  • Cinnamaldehyde, one of the main active components of cinnamon, may help fight various kinds of infection.
  • Cinnamon contains potent antibacterial, antiviral, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties –  which are helpful in treating colds, flu, and bronchitis.

Rosemary

  • Rosemary is a classic herb for colds and sore throats – well known for its antibacterial, antiseptic, and antiviral properties.
  • Rosemary stimulates the circulatory system and is anti-inflammatory, contains vitamins C and A, and is renowned for fighting for infection.

Thyme

  • Thyme is excellent for relieving congestion. You can brew a cup of thyme tea and inhale the aromatic steam to loosen up the mucous in our chest and facilitate its elimination.
  • It is antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, expectorant, and astringent. Thyme is great for respiratory infections and coughs.  It is also good for the stomach and relieves gas.

Sage

  • Sage is used as a topical antiseptic, as a mouthwash to treat inflamed gums, or as a gargle to help a sore throat. This claim is supported by a 2006 study published by the European Journal of Medical Research.
  • Sage is carminative, antiseptic, and astringent – the mouth and throat plant. Used for sore throats and cough. Also used for sinus congestion.
