We hand cut all of our Castile soaps into our generous bar size. To insure that our Castile Soaps are long lasting, we add a bit of our own beeswax.

We lovingly hand-make 8 natural and distinctive moisturizing Castile soap bars. Castile Soap is named for Castile, Spain, a region renowned for its olive oil. Olive oil produces a very gentle soap with a soft, creamy lather, which is kind even to sensitive skin. We use our Castile Soap on our faces and our babies because it contains no artificial foaming agents, harsh detergents, petrochemicals, or chemical anti-bacterial agents like triclosan.

Our Castile Soaps are 100% biodegradable and ocean/river friendly. We also use NO PALM OIL in our Castile soap, the cultivation of which is causing deforestation in Malaysia as well as habitat loss and the resultant destruction of orangutan populations.

| Shampoo Bar | Our Shampoo Bar is a gentle Castile soap and contains saponified olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil and 4 pure essential oils: . Rosemary to help hair grow and to heal damaged hair The bar lathers beautifully and rinses clean. It is completely biodegradable – safe for septic systems and great for camping. We use 1/8 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) in warm water as a rinse after the bar, which helps restore the natural pH level of the scalp and provides vitamins and minerals. If your hair is dry and frizzy, ACV will bring it back into balance. An ACV rinse helps prevent moisture loss from the scalp and keeps the hair healthy and shiny. Be careful you don't get it in your eyes! Traditional shampoo and conditioners are a stew of nasty chemicals in single use plastic containers that never biodegrade. Hope
- Made with Ylang-ylang, bergamot, and patchouli pure essential oils and Calendula petals from our gardens.
- A great anti-depressant, mood-lifting soap, and one of the Bliss’ bestsellers.
Lump of Coal
- Made with Texas Cedarwood and Bergamot pure essential oils.
- Earthy but stimulating, this soap contains Activated Charcoal which is an effective detox for the skin.
Uplift
- Made with Spearmint, Spruce, Lemon, and Lime pure essential oils.
- This soap is a real spirit lifter with the stimulating scent of citrus and mint.
Using our shampoo bar
Our Shampoo Bar is a gentle Castile soap that contains saponified olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil and 4 pure essential oils:
- Rosemary to help hair grow and to heal damaged hair
- Peppermint to stimulate the scalp
- Lemongrass to prevent dandruff and soothe irritation
- Bergamot to promote hair growth
The bar lathers beautifully and rinses clean. It is completely biodegradable – safe for septic systems and great for camping.
Try using 2-3T of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) in a full big cup of warm water as a rinse after shampooing. Apple Cider Vinegar helps restore the natural pH level of the scalp (skin is naturally slightly acidic and most shampoos are alkaline) and provides vitamins and minerals. If your hair is dry and frizzy or even oily, ACV will bring it back into balance. An ACV rinse helps prevent moisture loss from the scalp and keeps the hair healthy and shiny. Be careful you don’t get it in your eyes! Our new Shampoo Bar is safe for colour treated hair too! Remember traditional shampoo and conditioners are a stew of chemicals in single-use plastic containers that never biodegrade.

Your shampoo bar is the nicest shampoo I have ever used. I have always used expensive salon shampoos. I bought a shampoo bar at the Sechelt craft fair because your hair looked so healthy. My husband always says that he will use anything, but he has commented several times how much he loves the shampoo bar.

As with all the Botanical Bliss products I highly recommend the Castile Soap. I have extremely sensitive skin and this soap not only doesn’t irritate my skin but leaves it soft and smooth. The variety of fragrances is excellent, one to suit everyone. I adore the freshness of the mint and the calming nature of the lavender.
