Wild Hip Face Cream is our moisturizer made with wild rose hips and five herbs grown organically on-site in our gardens on Vancouver Island in Duncan BC. Here are some of the properties of these amazing plants: 
Rose hips are recognized as one of the richest plant sources of Vitamin C, which is anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and collagen-building on the skin. Three rose hips have as much vitamin C as an orange! Rose hips also contain other nutrients including bioflavonoids, vitamin A (the skin vitamin), vitamin E, minerals and B complex vitamins. We wild harvest our rose hips annually in Canada’s far north. Rose hips need a hard frost to release their healing energy and we wild harvest in October in the hills around Whitehorse, Yukon. 
Calendula helps speed the healing process on the skin due, in part, to its anti-inflammatory properties and the unique antioxidant compounds found in it. It’s anti-bacterial action protects against infections which helps problem skin to heal. Calendula boosts the appearance of your skin due to its unique antioxidant compounds that help reduce scars, age spots and the appearance of skin flaws. 
Lavender is well known as an herb to help with sleep and as an aid in treating depression, but it is also a skin healer. Scientific studies have found that lavender has an acceleratory effect on wound healing. It’s anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties can fight the bacteria that cause acne and inflammation. Lavender tones and makes skin firm as it boosts circulation and helps treat scars and burns, in part, due to its anti-inflammatory effects and ability to scavenge free radicals. 
Mullein contains antibacterial compounds that help disinfect wounds and heal skin irritations. Mullein leaf’s demulcent, emollient and astringent properties contribute to its ability to soften and protect the skin. Mullein is rich in many vitamins, such as vitamins D, B2, B5 and B12. 
Plantain was known to ancient Greek and Roman physicians as a wound healer and we now know that the astringent, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory qualities of the plant are the reason why. Native Americans used it to heal wounds, cure fever, and to draw out toxins from stings and bites. Plantain also contains allantoin like comfrey for cell regeneration. Like lavender, plantain also treats first degree burns.
With our cream, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY – the 60 ml size should last 2-3 months! We recommend that you use the cream morning and night as well as under your eyes and on your neck. We do not believe in day cream, eye cream and night cream – you have ONE FACE; you need ONE CREAM. All our Wild Hip Face Cream is made by hand in small batches using no petroleum, parabens, phthalates or artificial scent. Our face cream has traveled the world and has even been used at 17,500 feet at Mt Everest Base Camp!

I suffer from rosacea and have very sensitive skin. About 5 months ago I tried Botanical Bliss cream and found it really seemed to calm my rosacea, I wasn’t near as red and my skin felt well mosturized. After a while I took the changes in my skin for granted and didn’t think much about it. Unfortunately I ran out about a month ago while away on holidays and had to turn to other mosturizers. Well it didn’t take long for my rosacea to flare up again and my skin just looked terrible! When I got back I started using your cream again and I was amazed (and so grateful) how quickly my skin settled down and the dramatic difference it made! Of course I still have rosacea but my skin looks and feels so much better now. I encourage others who suffer from rocacea to try your cream and hopefuuly they’ll get the same great results I did.

I have had very sensitive skin my whole life, but while I was on acne medication even rinsing my face with water would cause redness. I tried DOZENS of different gentle face creams, but to no avail. They all caused redness, swelling and even rashes sometimes. My sister and step-mom both recommended Wild Hip to me, and my sister even gave me a small amount to try. Wow! Seriously amazing! It is smooth, feels calming, my face looks BETTER after applying it (never happened in my life before) and it has no residue. I need just the tiniest amount for my whole face. I bought the 15ml rose scented wild hip face cream in August at a little market on the Sunshine Coast; it’s almost December and I’m just about to run out (it spreads really well so you don’t need much)… I use it every morning and in the evening if I remember ;). I always used neutrogena before trying this, and there is ABSOLUTELY no comparison to that, and other shelf-brands I’ve tried. I feel like my face is allowed to breathe, and I’m excited to purchase the 60ml!
